Shalom! Thank you for taking time to visit my website. My name is Shmuel Browns. I am a tour guide, licensed by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. I live in Jerusalem and lead tours throughout Israel. I am a native English speaker and fluent in Hebrew.

To navigate the website you can click on the tabs above (About, Why, Blog, Tours, Hiking, Photography). Move the cursor over a tab to get a drop-down menu of additional choices (if available) and then click one of the items in the list. Remember that a word or phrase in a contrasting color signifies that it is a link that you can click.
You can enter Search terms to find specific articles or choose one of the Categories listed to the right (Archaeology, Architecture, Art, …). Click on the Tours tab to list some sample tours that I’ve lead. For information about celebrating a bat or bar mitzva in Israel click on item Bat Mitzva tour under Tours tab. Click on the Photography tab to focus on one of my specialties, designing a customized tour to experience Israel through the lens of a camera; under the tab are two additional photo entries.
